A block-stacking puzzle that actively works against you.
Clear horizontal lines by fitting the falling blocks together, just like the classic. Fill a whole row and it vanishes.
But this one fights back — see the panel to the right.
Developed for the BASIC Flip The Classic jam.
Piece denial: it watches for you setting up a big clear (Tetrafied), then it will quietly withhold the piece you need. It's strict, but not impossible — beat the anti-Tetrafied denial pattern, and the piece you want will slip through.
Four-line punishment: clear four rows at once and the whole board shoves up a row, with a line of junk added at the bottom.
A four-line clear is always possible if you play around it… but dare you actually go for one?
Keep the stack low and flat — a bumpy board is what triggers the nastier piece denial.
